Been lucky to have been invited again to exhibit at British Silver Week (this year part of the Clerkenwell Design Week). This particular exhibition is only open to the top British silversmiths, and to British Furniture Makers who have been awarded Bespoke Guild Marks from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. (a very long winded title here - but a very prestigious event, for a selected few).
Unfortunately, because it was a week or two later than previous years, it clashed with the start of Open Workshop Weekend with Spring Fling - not easy for collecting the furniture for one, and taking to the other .................... Parents come in handy on these occasions I find!
This year at Spring Fling, I'm joined by Beth Watson - a jewellry maker from Ayrshire.

My furniture is full of curves and lines that make it feel like a sculpture. I try to tread lightly and leave the planet in a better place than I found it. Most of my timber is local, mainly from windblown trees that I mill and dry myself.
