With Remembrance Sunday just past, and the 11th tomorrow, our thoughts turn to our past, present and future servicemen and women. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if the future didn't need their sacrifices?
I have been told that Sunday's TV programme of Songs of Praise included a feature from the National Memorial Arboretum. I was commissioned 12 years or so ago, to make the Altar Cross for the NMA Chapel. My honour and my privilege.

My furniture is full of curves and lines that make it feel like a sculpture. I try to tread lightly and leave the planet in a better place than I found it. Most of my timber is local, mainly from windblown trees that I mill and dry myself.
