A brand new website called "Makers' Eye" should be going live this week. It includes a few selected furniture makers, regarded as being as the best in Britain (and some in the world)- and yes, I'm privileged to be amongst them. Two of my teachers from Parnham College are on the site - John Makepeace and Robert Ingham (principal). I owe a huge debt of gratitude to these two, amongst others, and I'm proud to have my work standing alongside theirs.
A few busy weeks now, preparing furniture for clients and colleagues. Then yet more insulation to fit in the workshop - and all the work on the new house. At this rate, I'll be hard at it on Christmas Day!
I'll probably not write any more until the start of 2012 - so may I wish each and every one of you a peaceful and happy time over the festive season.

My furniture is full of curves and lines that make it feel like a sculpture. I try to tread lightly and leave the planet in a better place than I found it. Most of my timber is local, mainly from windblown trees that I mill and dry myself.
