There are many reasons for commissioning a special piece of furniture – to mark an anniversary or birthday, as a wedding gift, to celebrate a business success or graduation or to provide a focal point in your office or home. Whatever your reason for desiring a unique piece of furniture, Daniel is happy to chat through your options and the commissioning process.
When you commission a piece from Daniel you are purchasing a unique work of art. A commissioned piece is yours and yours alone. You will hold the design rights to it and there will never be another quite like it.
Daniel also enjoys working with clients who want to create something special with timber from a felled tree of their own. Commissioning Daniel to create your functional work of art from your own tree is a process that can take in excess of two years, from deciding upon a function and design to selecting and seasoning the wood to hand finishing the item.

Amongst the many private commissions, exhibition and speculative pieces Daniel has also been pleased to undertake commissions for bespoke boardroom furniture, a console table for the entrance to a private block of flats and the Altar Cross in the Chapel at the National Memorial Arboretum. Daniel also works with designers on furniture for hotels and for Heals furniture store.
